Borussia Dortmund vs Monaco postponed due to team bus involved in explosion
Borussia Dortmund’s Champions League match against Monaco has been postponed after an explosion has damaged the Dortmund team bus.
German team Dortmund confirmed that defender Marc Bartra has been injured in the event near the teams hotel but said there is “no danger inside the stadium”.
The match has been rescheduled and to be played at Dortmund’s Westfalenstadion at 17:45 BST on Wednesday.
Police have confirmed that there had been three explosions near the team bus.
Dortmund tweeted that: “A bomb exploded at the team bus next to the hotel.
“The players are safe. There is no danger at the stadium.”
Center back Marc Bartra has been sent to hospital to get treatment.
Tonights other quarter-final between Juventus and Barcelona has already started playing.
