Manchester United go through to Quarter-Finals of the Europa League.

With a 1-0 Victory at Old Trafford against FC Rostov, making the score 2-1 to Manchester United on aggregate seeing them through to the Quarter-Finals. Manchester United had many opportunities to score more goals and make the tie on-paper look more comfortable, however truly within the game itself, there was a wide margin in quality between the Manchester-based side and FC Rostov of Russia.

Rojo taking a snack break

Swedish Striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic had many opportunities within the game striking the post twice! Ibrahimovic had a few chance to pass the ball but instead he was to shoot. Rojo showed yet again a brilliant display of defending, and Mkhitaryan having a few opportunities to score but beat Rostov’s goalkeeper and puts it past the post. Worrying times for Manchester United when in the 48th minute when Fellaini was brought of for Paul Pogba.

It wasn’t until the 70th minute when — crosses the ball into Zlatan who back heels it (or shoots) to Juan Mata who tucks it into the back of the net making it 1-0 to Manchester United. FC Rostov of Russia had a great chance from a free kick but a great shot was met with an even better save by Manchester United’s Argentinian goalkeeper Romero!
