Wayne Rooney to West Ham? or Everton?
According to sky sports news, West Ham United are keen on signing Manchester United’s English, 31 year old, midfielder Wayne Rooney.
However the Mirror reports that Wayne Rooney is set to make big pay cut and turn down West Ham offer to join the club where it all started, Everton.
Manchester United may well want to cash out on Rooney especially due to his high wages, and due to the fact he has only made 9 starts for Machester United this season. It may be a move that is best favored by club and player.
The Englishman who had rejected rumors of going to the Chinese Super League in the previous window may well make a move in the summer window, but it is more likely he is to stay in England and join an English side.
West Ham are still trying to find a replacement for french midfielder Dimitri Payet and may have found a perfect player in Wayne Rooney to hopefully bring them more success and to save their not so good season.
However Everton could be a more persuasive offer for Rooney as he could be joining the team that kick started his career and is much closer to his boyhood area. Everton could do with Wayne Rooney as he can help the team in finding their key players on the pitch as Rooney’s passing had improved since he switch from a forward role for a midfielder role. Rooney may also be able to help Romelu Lukaku win the golden boot. This transfer seems to be a dream move for Everton, but only time can tell.
Will Rooney rejoin the club where it all began or Will he join West Ham United if they can produce better wages offer?
